8. November: Into Dust Screening - Let's Talk About Water
WAREM (Water Resources Engineering and Management) von der Uni Stuttgart organisieren zusammen mit IAHR-YPN (International Association for hydro Engineering and Research – Young Professionals Network) ein Screening des Films "Into Dust" am 8. November 2021 auf dem Uni-Campus Vaihingen: 19:30 Uhr in V7.02 (Pfaffenwaldring 7, 70569 Stuttgart).

Into dust tells us the story of Perween Rahman, a Pakistani social activist, who defended the rights of 1.5 million inhabitants in Orangi Town, Karachi _one of the world’s largest slums_ to have access to clean water. For sure, her actions enraged the land mafia which led to exposing their work of stealing clean water from the domestic network of the town. Sadly, Rahman was shot and killed on her way back home in 2013.
Join us on 8th of November 2021 at Pfaffenwaldring 07 – (V 7.02) at 19.30 and help us share a story of a hero. The 40 mins documentary will be followed by an open discussion about water and ways to take action fighting water crisis around the world. We would very grateful if you shared our invitation within your network.
